Editor’s Note:
Claude Ledgerwood was my Sunday School teacher some 55 years ago, about the time he was starting the Marble Shop. I knew him before my teen years and have worked with him on many projects over the years. He was certainly dynamic, full of life, and exciting to talk with. He loved the stone industry and always sought to improve quality and methods of production. He has influenced my life and many friends in the stone industry in a positive way. Our prayers are with his wonderful family as we mourn his passing.
